Typewritten and bound transcript of an interview conducted by Michael Van Wagenen for the World War II Homefront Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 13 Aug. 1992. Bergeson talks about his early life in Lewiston, Utah. He tells about his experience as a missionary for the Mormon Church in Germany from 1925 to 1928. He also relates his experiences as a probation officer in Tooele County, Utah, and shares his memories of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and how World War II influenced his spiritual life.
